The Steak n Shake Company (Steak n Shake) is engaged in the ownership, operation and franchising of Steak n Shake restaurants. Steak n Shake’s menu features items, such as STEAKBURGER sandwiches, – more... thin and crispy fries and hand-dipped milk shakes. Steak n Shake restaurants are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In fiscal 2008, lunch and dinner sales accounted for approximately 38% and 45% of total sales, while breakfast and late night sales account for 6% and 11% of total sales, respectively. Counter and dining room sales represent approximately 60% of the sales mix, while sales for off-premises dining represent approximately 40% of the sales mix.
