overall an easy job, too long hours and favoritism from managment, unequal treatment.
Merchandiser (Former Employee), Groveport, OH – May 17, 2013
Pros: paid breaks
Cons: short breaks
overall it was an easy job, the hours were extremly too long and I was not hired for the shift described to me in my orientation. I find supervisors would make things more difficult for employees that they did not like. For the first 2 months I was not able to clock in without my supervisor/ onsite manager doing it for me, i was told it would be fixed – more... on a daily basis but the problem remained for 2 months. – less
Independent Stylist (Former Employee), Chicago, IL – September 14, 2012
This was an independent business & a second job, where I had guidance from my mentor but wasn't able to work with a team on a daily basis, which is something I am looking for. I loved the jewelry and their marketing, but I would rather have been a part of the marketing team at their headquarters as opposed to selling and working mainly alone.
Sales and Marketing Representative (Current Employee), Southport, CT – April 4, 2012
Stella & Dot provides hands-on experience by working with new customers. This helped me develop essential tools for sales and marketing as a result of the company's extensive business model. Stella & Dot is a great company to work for, and provides guidance and support when needed. The business model truly allows representatives to build their own business – more... and to succeed. – less
