Productive workplace with a high turnover rate.

Pros: three days off, vacation time, and meeting new friends.
Cons: short breaks, no overtime, and decline in work.
We worked on different events on a day to day basis. Once I received my location it was time to sort and process the non-controlled product. This intel some data entry and verification. The job also consisted of heavy lifting, squatting, and bending.

A very good environment all around.

Manages assigned routes ensuring customers’ waste is picked up in a timely and accurate manner. •Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

•Plans daily schedule based on customers’ needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous – more...  VCR, etc. provided by the Transportation Manager/Supervisor.
•Pick up specified waste from each customer site scheduled for the day. Ensures that customers have packaged and prepared the waste according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations before transporting.
•Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts on a daily basis, communicating any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher for resolution. This includes, but is not limited to re-routes, adjustments in container sizes, training, etc.
•Ensures waste, supplies, and material handling equipment are secured prior to operating vehicle on public highway. – less

The only thing I would change is, flexablity on drive time demands;
they're not realalistic to the reality of everyday traffic conditions and situatios that is endured during normal drive-time.

Pros: there 2nd shift work schedule is nice you work 4, 10 hour days.
Cons: short breaks, they treat everyone differently, the bosses pick favorites, and its just not a good place to work
Stericycle does not give its employees a chance to move up in the company. They make rules that do not make sense to anyone and I feel they made them to try to find reasons to let people go while trying not to let them receive unemployment.

Cons: 1 minute late punch, no more overtime, firing good people, being unrealistic, uncaring management
Our Regional Manager did a great job with employee relations. I believe he felt that if you take care of the people you work with, they will take care of you. This work ethic flourished without a hitch, until Upper Management made unrealistic and unnessary changes in the rules for hourly employees....
