Steven Alan, a multi-brand retailer carrying a curated collection of clothing, accessories, apothecary, and home items for both men and women, is searching for a Customer Service Representative to join the Shipping & Customer Service team. Located in the TriBeCa neighborhood of New York City, this individual will work assist the Shipping/Customer Service Manager with managing the operations process for all specialty retailers, department stores, and Steven retail stores in an extremely customer service oriented environment. The person will provide quality service every day, obtain credit on new accounts, act as liaison between our sales force, shipping and manufacturing departments, and collect on past due accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order entry for all International, Domestic and Steven Alan Retail Stores
  • Complete order management responsibility for assigned Domestic accounts
  • Process all style, color and UPC additions/revisions/deletions, based on market performance
  • Liaison with Steven Alan Sale ,Retail and Warehouse team for all Customer Service inquiry
  • Research and provide necessary documentation for charge-backs
  • Pick/Invoice Processing for all assigned accounts
  • Resolve all customer refusals
  • Expedite rush orders
  • Return authorization processing
  • Minimal preparation for International shipping documents
  • Minimal EDI transmission to and from warehouse and Retail system


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two or more years of customer service a plus
  • PC skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with staff and management
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Self motivated
  • Knowledge of Blue Cherry a plus
