Fast pace work place.Many things going on all day.Telephone constantly ringing from floors looking for results or requesting a phlebotomist be sent.
Assignment of hand phones for communications with emergency dept.,Out patient lab and all phlebs and supervisors.
Mail reports and deliver to emergency dept. Reports. Pull requested supplies for floors if needed.
Quality control of all order lab tests, corrections when needed, add tests for appropriate accessions.
Contacting doctor offices to verify receipt of special test and stat or critcal values.
Answering questions concerning order neumonic codes and/or what type of tubes to be drawn.
