Cashier, Receptionist, Assistant, Lithonia, GA - February 7, 2015
I actually found this job while looking for a new car.. I had worked at another Toyota so I was already familiar with the computer systems that used and I knew that I would also be able to receive health insurance if brought on full time. I would drive from my house in Social Circle to work and the drive was awful. It took almost an hour to get there and then even longer to get home because of the traffic on I20. I enjoyed that they had a café in the building so I didn't have to leave for lunch unless I wanted to. There was on lady that always seemed to be unhappy no matter what anyone did or didn't do. Even if you were able to get everything correct she would always make mention that it could have been faster or slower and that she would do that this way or that way. I learned that there many different people in this small little world that we live in and that not everything you do or don't do would matter to others. Also learned that it would be best to not talk about personal things with others that work there because they in turn would not keep it to themselves. Management was good for the most part even though I only saw the owner of the dealership a handful of times.. He never wanted to be bothered about anything at anytime so I was sending lots of calls right to his voicemail and then the person would call back and wonder why he hadn't called them back as if I would know the answer to that.
