Senior Lead Infrastructure Analyst, Washington DC / Fort Sheridan, IL - April 18, 2013
Upon retirement from the military, STRATIS hired me as a contractor in support of a DIA program as a geo-spatial infrastructure analyst. In this capacity I was allowed to work remotely from a secure facility at Ft. Sheridan, Illinois. I used many, but not all, of my military acquired skills to complete infrastructure analysis and produce reports based on my findings. I worked independently at this location and periodically consulted with co- workers on the same project in Washington D.C. The most difficult part of the job was that occasionally the imagry I was using was not as clear as I would have liked. Otherwise, the four years working on various projects was satisfying because I enjoyed the challenge and felt that I was contributing to the nation.
