Pros: high bonus available, but hard to obtain
Cons: no work/life balance, no security, management lies and isnt open about anything
A typical day is you wake up and hit the door scared that you arent going to get your iPad signed before 8:45, who cares if that call moves business, because it is just your time clock for management. Then you spend your day going around asking doctors to sign your iPad to prove you were there without leaving them samples to move your business forward. The DM's are just puppets that are there to do/say what NSD and VP tells them. Then you space your calls out just long enough to make your last call after 4:30 so that you can "punch out for the day."
There is no loyalty here to the sales reps, the company doesnt value employees and people are only good for what they have done lately. The bonuses can be big, but unless you get the random quarter where they mess up your goal, then you can't really hit the goal. This is the worst place to start your career in pharma. If you are selling hard core B2B (copiers, payroll, uniforms, etc.) then go into MED Device and stay away from RP, AD and Strativa!
