Pros: excellent customer service/support, differentiated product, good field personnel working with customers
Cons: competing against mega powers, being more expensive is a challenge
Stratus was once the best place each employee had worked. Over the years the company has experienced difficulty in competing against industry giants for major accounts' critical applications. That and attrition of legacy customers have resulted in significant staff reductions (to compensate for declining revenues) and deteriorating morale. It's stil a comfortable, decent compensating place to work if you are indispensible and can afford to risk working for a company who future is uncertain.
