Great work environment but horrible customers
Tech / Customer Support (Former Employee) – Lubbock, TX – May 24, 2017
Suddenlink has a good work environment and a strong team dynamic. Which is what I liked about it. At Suddenlink as long as you showed up on time and were willing to work, you were allowed to do whatever you wanted. You never had to worry about management breathing down your neck all the time.
The bad part about working for Suddenlink were the customers. I have worked at countless customer service jobs and have never encountered customers as rude as the ones at Suddenlink. The other bad part about working for Suddenlink was their shifts.
At Suddenlink, they have set shifts and if you can't work a certain shift then you will need to find someone to trade with. If you can't find someone, then you will be out of a job because they will not change shift start and end times for anyone.
This can cause problems for students and single parents, which is why they have issues keeping people on at Suddenlink.
