Cons: sometimes it was difficult to get information from other departments.
Hectic and always busy. Opened mail, directed to correct personnel. Typed the director's correspondence. Processed invoices which included making sure the invoices followed contracts and propoals. Tracked project expenses. Balanced project bank accounts. Prepared checks for payment. Submitted proposed travel arrangements to the travel department. My boss was brilliant and the other assistants were easy to work with. Most people were willing to answer questions and help if there was a problem.
