My day at work is you are on a go constantantly on. Nursing you never know whats going to happen with the patients. Everyday you learn something about being the nursing field. My co-workers are awesome they teach me alot of things we just love doing what we do. Everyday at work is not the same that the hardest part. I've worked for Summa Health Systems. I was one of first LPN's hired, trained and utilized on St Thomas' ICU Unit, in Akron, Ohio. It is one of the most valued, educational, interesting experiences of my nursing career. I'd love the opportunity to work for Summa again....

Summa is an excellent place to work. The people Ive meet have been there for ten plus years. I like the fact that full time employees has the union on their side. Personally I dont like working weekends but its not to often that I work the weekends because I only work the third weekend of every month. I went to Summa for an externship in 2005, I loved working in the lab doing blood draws, I saw and learned alot by watching the employees that worked there.
