Worked with a lot of students with different disabilities from all different walks of life. Pay is terrible...you easily make 15K more at a public school starting out but a good way to get experience. Long days with even longer staff meetings are the norm.
I really enjoyed working with the client population. However there was very little support from the supervisor. It appeared that a lot of the staff was cut-throat and was not very supportive of me in my previous position.
was on a school year calander
no real paid vacation days, just earned sick time and personal time
