I just got hired at Summit Health and I didnt like how they manage it!Poor management! First theres a lot of opening for an event but every time I requested to work for an event it always said its already unavailable!? What the hell?! Over 40+ events that I already requested to work on but all of it came out unavailable!I tried to email the people who's in charge of the event and NONE of them reply to my email. I wish Cigna didnt sell their company to Summit Health!! I never ever had a problem working with Cigna!

In Arizona, a boss (team lead" watches over you every 5 seconds, much less every 5 minutes.

Portal, not porthole. A porthole is on a ship. Too much traveling for no travel pay (for your hours) and only 41 cents a mile for gas and wear and tear on your vehicle.

Summit has not paid me for my work during the first week of October. Their excuse was company running 2-3 weeks behind on payroll. Not reliable for primary job concerning pay. You'll sink in bills. Good as secondary job. Company shouldn't advertise as bi-weekly pay if they can't live up to that, even if it means staying overtime to process payroll or hiring extra employees.

Summit brags about it's 2-week pay policy, and claims they pay faster than any other company in the field. The problem is, they don't pay you within the 2-week time frame, and always have an excuse. Then they act like you have a problem if you complain. You cannot reach payroll, and the telephone numbers and emails they provide get you nowhere. They will pay you ... eventually ... but never within the time frame promised. If you want to get paid on time, this is not the place to work.

Just wondering if you were ever paid?

If you are a medical professional and college educated, do not work here. Your regional supervisor will be a high school graduate with a certificate from a technical college. Your team leads may be high school drop outs, short order cooks, and retail clerks. None of these people are effective managers, supervisors, or team leads. In fact, they can be downright awful at their job - but if you mention your concerns to management, you get fired - not the terrible managers/leads. They prefer uneducated yes men who don't expect to get paid for all time worked and who will never ask questions. They don't care if these managers treat everyone under them like imbeciles, or if these managers break every rule you are expected to follow. As long as they are an obedient worker bee, anything goes. Not a good place to work if you expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, or have your credentials recognized.
