Pros: hour long lunches

Traveling to different offices is a great way to learn the many ways of the different doctors I work with. Coworkers are always great to work with and see again when visiting an office multiple times

Loving it
Clerical Asst,Scanning Tech, Sr. Mail Clerk (Former Employee), Knoxville, TNNovember 2, 2013
Had 3 positions while working here and loved everyone. I was very busy and loved it. Each position held its own responsibilities. As a mail clerk for a big company dividing up the mail to different sites and knowing where each doctor was located to time and patience. Adding up all payments and making sure that everything matched when posted was anther – more... duty with this position.
Scanning the papers and insurance claims into the system for electronic view was by far the best position I had there. After the initial scanning of the document I had to make sure that everything scanned properly and not upside down.
The clerical position needed to have internet abilities with correcting returned addresses of patients. – less

Phone Operator / File Clerk (Former Employee), Knoxville, TNSeptember 30, 2013
Pros: free lunches from drug reps
Cons: short breaks
I was very young, right out of high school and this office opened their arms and hearts to me and became like family. We all worked together as a team and our first goal was to cater to our patients. The hardest about my job was handleing angry patients and the most enjoyable was being able to multitask on a daily basis, stress free

SMG: A great place to work
Xray Technologist (Current Employee), Berkeley Heights, NJMay 15, 2013
I really enjoy working at the Summit Medical Group. I must say they really chose a great group of people in the Imaging Department. It's just a pleasant place to be. The mood of the people really speaks loudly.

A typical day is usually pretty steady. The volume has increased so our work flow has changed in order to accomodate. It can get extremely – more... busy and on those days and the day goes very quickly. – less

A wonderful work environment wher the patients came first.
Medical Assistant (Former Employee), New JerseyOctober 10, 2012
Pros: the doctors were amazing and always helped me understand what was going on with a patient.
Cons: i would get very familiar and grow to really care about the patients, so when they passed away it was difficult. i also understand they were at peace and better off.
I worked with some of the sickest patients on a daily basis. Oncology patients are some of the strongest people. They face hardships daily but always look to the bright side of things. I was always learning from them the importance of life. They helped me more than I think I helped them. I worked side by side with nurses I consider to be some of the – more... smartest women I ever met. They loved their job and it showed by the care they gave thier patients. – less
