As a Surgical Technologist, your primary responsibilities include assisting with surgical procedures, performing the role of first scrub on surgical cases, setting up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedure and assists with sterilization and preparation of procedures.
You will also support the Physician in Clinic. Those duties may include rooming of patients, collecting patient medical history, providing patient education, casting, injections and bracing.
- A minimum of one year of experience
- A graduate of a surgical technology program, degree or certification accredited through ARC/STSA.
- Certification is conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- AST or professional affiliation / membership recommended.
This position is full time, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have availability between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and must be willing to float to clinics in the Twin Cities East Metro.
