Branch Manager (Former Employee) – Grandview, MO – June 30, 2017
As a branch manager all the choices made for the branch fall on your shoulders. Some Supervisors work with you and encourage you to excel, while others micromanage you and attempt to run the office their way. Your taught to assess every situation, find the optional optimal outcome, and strive for it. The teams are small in most offices, usually less then three people. The hardest part of the job is the area your assigned to. Some areas are easy, and making loans is not challenging. Other lower income areas make it difficult to profit when a solid loan count must be held, even if it means losing thousands per month due to write offs which the company does not attempt to go to court to collect. The best part of the job by far are the customers, you feel a sense of pride and accomplishment sharing in their lives and aiding them whenever possible.
Good benifits, free lunch when the supervisor visits, insentives for profiting stores.
Managers are expected to work long hours, not take breaks, and never to miss work.
