Sun Media Corporation (Sun Media) is a publisher of national chain of tabloids and community newspapers. As of December 31, 2008, the Company published 17 paid daily newspapers. Sun Media also publishes 178 weekly newspapers, shopping guides, and agricultural and other specialty publications, as well as six free daily commuter publications: 24 Hours – more... in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton and 24 Heures in Montreal. As of December 31, 2008, the combined weekly paid circulation of its daily newspapers was approximately 6.3 million copies, and the combined weekly circulation of its free dailies was approximately 3.5 million copies.
