Operations Office Manager
SunGlo Restoration Services is currently seeking a highly qualified Production Operations Manager to lead our Production Operations Support Team at our Novi, MI location. The position involves managing and directing the Production Operations staff while working to ensure the execution of proper technical procedures and management policies in accordance with our quality standards and Company customer satisfaction goals. Administers management policies and directives, trains and evaluates subordinate staff on performance standards including disciplinary discussions as required. Is responsible for the assignment of resources including personnel and planning in the Production Operations Office. Assists with interviewing, selecting and hiring of Production Operations Office staff.
Reports to: Director of Production Operations
Major Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management and supervision of 6 – 8 Operations Office personnel
  • Build and maintain a Team that fosters teamwork
  • Act as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve problems
  • Develop and administer schedules, performance requirements
  • Responsible for writing performance reviews and compensation recommendations
  • Manage and continuously strive to improve service delivery and processes
  • Provide ideas and feedback based on experience to enhance procedures and processes
  • Utilize measurement and reporting systems to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction, productivity and quality of work
  • Must have the availability to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays when required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 years or more prior supervisory experience with proven people management skills in a fast paced office environment
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal and external customers to deliver high quality results
  • Ability to quickly change priorities, work to short deadlines, and apply multi-tasking skills to coordinate projects with overlapping and/or simultaneously occurring time frames
  • Accountability and the ability to prioritize urgency and appropriate escalation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to verbally communicate with groups of 25 or more

Eduction/Experience:

  • College degree preferred
  • 3 – 5 years or more experience in the insurance restoration industry
  • Familiarity with Xactimate estimating program
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Experience with creating and delivering training documents, as well as process/procedure documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
