There is great disparity in job duties. Some positions take on an enormous amount of responsibility (and pressure) while others have much less work and more personnel. Management has not taken the initiative to learn about the positions in which they manage, and lack understanding in job activities. I have seen many occasions where management has greatly overrated a person's performance, and severely underappreciated others. It can be very frustrating as there has been no end to the problems and little assistance/support from management when solutions are presented.
On the other hand, the environment is great. There is a ping pong table, cafeteria, gym, large cubicles and offices, and free coffee and hot chocolate. I have many wonderful coworkers and the work can be satisfying. There are many challenges and opportunities to learn new things and advance skills.
