Very small team; all individuals required to "wear many hats". Serious lack of automation, due to "fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants" mentallity, with limited communication from upper management to ensure smooth operation of company. Knee-jerk, reactionary company, rather than proactive, ahead-of-the-curve. Typical analyses are after-the-fact and based on outdated information. All job functions are manual, mainly maintained in spreadsheets vs. using available technology to analyze day to day functions, due to upper management's unwillingness to learn up-to-date technologies to manage business. Great team of subordinates. Company is truly managed by the "worker bees" who tend to go unnoticed, but truly know all of the functionality of the industry and company and are able to be flexible on a moment's notice to ensure the end result is satisfactory to the customers. Poorly managed, but effectively run by subordinates. Hardest part is dealing with politics from upper management and their inability to communicate clearly to the appropriate members of the team. Most enjoyable part is knowing your part/position truly makes a difference simply due to the fact that being such a small team allows for every individual's voice to be heard.
