For over 11 years, HopeSpring has been offering a variety of programs and services to people in our community affected by cancer. These programs are offered free of charge, do not require a medical referral, and are available in Waterloo and Cambridge.
Our programs include courses, workshops, seminars, gentle exercise, relaxation therapies, and information – more... nights. We also provide individual and group support, a free wig boutique, and a resource centre. Some of our services are available on a drop-in basis, and others require registration. Please check elsewhere on this website for a longer description of our programs, as well as our program calendar for the next two months.
Those who take part in HopeSpring activities often remark on the positive, peaceful environment of our Centres. Our staff and volunteers are here to offer experience, support, and suggestions on ways you can help yourself during your experience with cancer.
Our facilitators are trained, certified, and experienced in various fields, including many self-help disciplines. All our services are designed to help you promote a calmer, more confident attitude during an experience with cancer.
Please note that the services offered at HopeSpring are not provided by psychologists or medical practitioners. We urge our members and visitors to seek appropriate medical and psychological advice, as required. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
