My typical day of work was greeting customers, help them locate items in the store, process their transactions cash, debit or credit card purchases, stock and clean areas in the store daily.
I learned to actively listen to the customer and provide feedback or help when needed. Management was very flexible, understanding, also with a open door policy. My co-workers were friendly and very helpful when I was learning my job.
The hardest part of my job was the hours, we were open 24 hours and sometimes you are asked to do a over night, and those can be hard.
The most enjoyable part of my job was meeting new people everyday talking with them, getting to know the people in that community.
