Founded in 1992, Susan Magrino Agency is a public relations, branding and events firm with expertise in a number of business and lifestyle arenas. Specializing in marketing-based public relations and branding campaigns, Susan Magrino Agency focuses on quality and long-term strategies enabling clients to not only generate effective media coverage, but also achieve their overall marketing and business goals. We pride ourselves on creativity and ingenuity to break through the clutter in today's multimedia market, and each component of our campaigns is focused, strategic and carefully orchestrated to not only meet, but surpass, our clients' expectations and goals. Coupled with good, solid judgment in every decision regarding the positioning and communication of our clients' brands to the media and public, this strategic approach ensures cost-effective campaigns with outstanding results.
While our company has consistently evolved and expanded over the last decade, we have grown carefully to allow us to maintain a small-agency feel. Clients are assured personalized attention and senior management involvement at every stage, as well as our trademark enthusiasm, passion, drive and integrity.
Initially specializing in public relations for publishing and lifestyle clients, Susan Magrino Agency quickly expanded into travel, beauty, broadcast, restaurants and design with early marquis clients including Martha Stewart, Frederic Fekkai, and the relaunch of Harper's Bazaar magazine under editor Liz Tilberis. Early achievements included the launch of the PBS series Charlie Rose and Chris Blackwell's Island Outpost hotel group, as well as a New York Magazine 'Best Publicist" award for Susan.
Our comprehensive approach to public relations quickly expanded to include involvement in brand development as well, given the intrinsic links between these two disciplines in creating a powerful, cohesive image for our clients. We orchestrated the brand development for the 1998 launch of W Hotels and the 1997 revamp and repositioning of the Ariel Sands resort in Bermuda, as well as other marketing-based initiatives for a variety of clients.
In its 12-year history, Susan Magrino Agency has created some very successful public relations events including Time Magazine's 75th Anniversary at Radio City Music Hall, the launch of O: The Oprah Magazine, The Four Seasons Restaurant's 40th Anniversary, La Caravelle's 40th Anniversary, The Cooper Hewitt Museum National Design Awards, Travel + Leisure's 30th Anniversary, AmFAR's tribute to Larry King with special guest Sharon Stone at the Plaza, the 1999 Initial Public Offering of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, the 1997 IPO for the Petersen Companies, the Yahoo! Internet Life Online Music Awards, the Absolut Spring campaign launch with Kate Spade, Amnesty International's annual awards ceremony in 1999 and 2000 and the launch of the Gravity Games Festival for Emap Petersen, broadcast on NBC TV in 1999. – less–ZoomInfo
