Unless otherwise specified, you CAN use a laptop ONLY if it meets the minimum specs. Most positions require a Windows 7 or 8.1 PC (Windows 10 or Vista sometimes required) with an Ethernet port for network security reasons. Check the website for current specs. Many jobs are Work at Home (WaH), some are hybrid, and others are in an office.

Some remote jobs require a minimum video resolution or screen size. You may need an external monitor that connects directly to the computer.

Most of these are the minimum standard requirements for the majority of companies that offer remote (WaH) customer service & tech support positions.

Most unprofessional company I have ever worked for in my life! Rate of pay does not equal what they expect you to do. When they first arrived in Las Vegas to start a location here, they acted like they were a new company trying to start a new company! They change expectations of employees daily!! If you are a corporate butt kisser or brown noser, you'll be fine. Otherwise, they'll let you go, and make up a "reason" (LIE!!) as to why they did!! Lol...what a joke! They don't want you to lie, but it's okay for them to lie in order to cover themselves and justify their ridiculous actions. Just talk fast, DON'T care about customer, it's all about the numbers.

They use  third-party verification services. You do not have to provide contact information as your work history is easily obtained by Social Security Work History and or Earnings History Reports and their  third-party verification services does it all. I Believe sterling talent solutions is now their  third-party verification services.

About one month and two weeks. Orientation covers mostly the Code of Conduct (which is a joke when it comes to being enforced). Training was insufficient and the main programs used during calls were removed and replaced with one we had no training for. Frequently during 2 weeks training, Manager was not available and we would spend over 5 hours of 8 hour day just sitting around socializing waiting for manager.
