Bed Access Manager/Nursing Supervisor (Former Employee) – Lakeport, CA – March 13, 2014
I began working at Sutter as a bed access manager, a newly created position. I really enjoy ed this position because I worked closely with all of the physicians and staff to teach them about appropriate admissions. It was a fabulous opportunity and within 1 1/2 years, everyone had it down and I had to change positions because of this success! I then was an administrative supervisor and case manager. I had wonderful relationships with staff and physicians. At that time, management changed and I decided to move to Mexico to become bi-lingual.
being a part of a culture change in the hospital
at times, there was conflict with some of the physicians related to changing admission policies
