Teachers: The position will involve teaching and grading small-sized classes of up to 15 students per class. The curriculum and many materials will be provided to you and you will plan the lessons with the Managing Director. The Managing Director will support you every step of the way, creating tests, quizzes, reading questions and so forth. However, it is critical that you become acquainted with our process and approaches prior to teaching to meet our customers' expectations. This may require you to first start as an Assistant Teacher to become acclimatized to our center or may require you to train and observe our courses for 1 month prior to beginning to teach.
These diverse classes meet once a week. Grading can be done at home. Multiple classes may be available. Classes range from 1 hour to 2 hours per week. We go on a semester basis of 10 sessions for Fall/Winter and 7 sessions for Spring, with prospects of short summer workshops to teach in June-July as well. Thus, hypothetically, a TA, for the Winter semester, would be responsible for 1 class that meets from 10-20 hours per semester and will be paid up to $420 per class per semester, depending on enrollment.
If a Teaching Assistant is qualified and shows initiative, we would like him/her to teach courses as well after going through 1-2 semesters of TA-ing with us. This opportunity will be always be there especially for those with experience and education/qualifications. Commitment to quality teaching, thorough feedback/grading, and maintaining academic rigor as well as showing reliability is a must.
Classes meet on weekends all day (Sundays are our heaviest days) and weekday evenings for 2 hours (generally 6-8pm). We need candidates to be available for both weekends and weekday evenings.
Candidates should have a commitment to the education process, students’ progress, providing formative feedback on assignments on a weekly basis, and responding promptly to parents/student inquiries as well as the Managing Director and staff.

We would like you to be able to teach or TA for us if you wish, help train new teachers/TAs, and assist with homeschooling projects.
