Swift Air is seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Auditor

The Quality Control Department is recruiting for Quality Control Auditor. This position will be located in Phoenix and will report to the Director of Quality Control.

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Auditor reports directly to the Director of Quality Control and is responsible for the accomplishment of their assigned functions.

Position Specifications:

High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of five years of maintenance experience, and one year of QA experience. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in written form with all levels of Management, Customers, and Vendors. Knowledge of Excel and other MS Office programs preferred. Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills required. Must be able to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work as a member of a team.

· Must hold current mechanic certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.

· Must be knowledgeable of the CFRs for those functions covered.

· Must be qualified in audit procedures (Coordinating Agency for Supplier Evaluation (CASE) qualified, preferred.

· Must provide proof of qualification on type of aircrafts the Company operates, or an equivalent type of aircraft.


Conducts audits as described in the CAS manual.
Manages the records resulting from audits.
Has delegated responsibility from the DQC to manage correspondence concerning any audits.
Keeps the DQC informed of status of audits and any related concerns.
Assists in the management of the CAS program.
Attends CAS meetings and informs participants of any needed information.
Maintains all audit files.
Advised DQC of any needed changes to the Contractual Vendor List.
Addresses unsatisfactory audit findings, and takes steps necessary for correction.
Responsible for auditing and training (as needed) of various Vendors using the applicable Company Vendor Audit forms found in the CAS manual. Assures their qualifications and competency to perform the necessary maintenance, inspection or repair of Company aircraft, fueling and deicing/anti-icing Operations.
