Administrative Assistant I
Company Overview
A Physical and Occupational Therapy Company, specializing in Home Health geriatrics and orthopedics and offering excellent career support, is seeking an Administrative Assistant I in a Part-time position to join its team of successful office and therapy staff.

Job Summary

  • Responsible for maintaining and/or creating patient and therapist records within medical software
  • Answering incoming calls and maintaining documentation
  • Responsible for completing necessary paperwork
  • Assisting with logistics for occasional training events
  • Filing, typing, and faxing
  • Assisting with scheduling and communicating with staff
  • Documenting updates in a timely manner
  • Organizing mail
  • Maintaining an orderly office
  • Receiving and directing visitors
  • Following documentation procedures
  • Reviewing information for accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Computer skills - intermediate level
  • Able to learn documentation and scheduling software
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A good team player
  • Able to schedule efficiently
  • Able to read, write, and speak English
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

Preferred

  • Prior medical, therapy, or home-health experience
