Symcor was established in 1996 in anticipation of these market changes and with the ambitious vision of combining the check, remittance and statement production operations of Canada’s three largest banks into a single commercial organization. Our shareholders are RBC Financial Group, BMO Financial Group and TD Bank Financial Group. In addition to providing a broad customer base under long-term commercial contracts, our ownership ensures a solid capital structure for continued investment in technology and new services.

While the ownership structure has remained in place, Symcor has successfully expanded its business. In addition to servicing the banking industry, our services now extend into the wealth management, brokerage, insurance, telecommunications and retail industries.

Today we are more than 7,400 employees servicing over 100 customers through a network of business centers that covers five North American time zones.
