Sales Representative, Sewell, NJ - April 23, 2015
Being a sales representative, a typical day would literally be sitting down all day in front of a computer with a headset on selling various products, normally all natural supplements. The people you work with are amazing. Everyone there is great to work with. Most people I worked with there are great to keep in touch with outside of work as well. The work, however, not so much. It is a very difficult job which takes tremendous patience and willpower to perform effectively. Be prepared to handle some of the rudest customers you'll ever have to deal with. The most important thing to remember about working here is that you should always have a plan B. You are expendable there and they will find a way to fire you if they feel necessary. They have a high turnover rate. The pay is decent. It's commission based, so the better you sell, the better your check will look. Overall, it's not a bad place to work, but it's certainly not a place you'd plan on starting a career. Basically this is something to do if you want to get some good sales experience and/or a glutton for punishment.
