Great place to work
Selector (Former Employee), Grand Rapids, MI – May 16, 2013
Pros: great pay
Cons: breaks did seem really short even though they really weren't
Picking orders on our arm held computers and putting labels on each case. All of this was new to me but I catch on pretty easy to things. The people that I worked with were great. The hardest part of the whole job was driving to and from work it was about an hour and during the winter it was terrible. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people – more... that I worked with they were great. – less

Great Place to finish your career, dont start there.
Talent Acquisition Partner II (Current Employee), Cypress, TX – May 7, 2013
Great Culture, Great pay ! Horrible HR. Many of there investigations where handle very improper. If work there, do your job and leave. don't depend on HR to handle any of your complaints or charges. Also there are people who have been in same position for over 10years very little room for advancement.

Great Atmosphere
Supply Planner II (Buyer) (Current Employee), Cypress, TX – April 29, 2013
The atmosphere and the people are great at Sysco. As a supply planner II (buyer), you are very busy and the day goes by fast. The hardest part of the job is that things are constantly changing and responsibilities can fluctuate at any time. I continued to learn buying practices and added to my SAP knowledge.

Worst job I ever had, most unprofessional ppl I have ever worked with. Only good thing was the ability to work from home. You make very, very little money and put a TON of miles on your car. DONT DO IT!

Enjoyed the foodservcie sales careers and hospitality industry
Sales Rep/Territory Manager (Former Employee), Oklahoma City, OK – April 5, 2013
Pros: self gratifying - all of it!
Enjoyed creating sales territories in the foodservice industry earning decent money but disliked the eventual territory re-alignments which were common place for every distributor I worked with. The restaurant business was really satisfying as you gave people experiences that were rarely found, The only bad part of restaurant management back then was – more... I worked over 90 hours in six days every week and all holidays. – less
