The $$$ & Benefits are good, BUT THAT'S IT!!
Route Driver (Current Employee) – California – April 15, 2017
Working for this place has definitely sharpened my skills as a driver due to the fact that you'll be making deliveries to a variety of customers ranging from restaurants, hospitals, prisons etc. that can be located in the most remote places where a tractor trailer shouldn't even be going, very tight spaces, narrow alleys, low overhangs and so on. You'll be having to do a high number of stops & cases that usually mean at least a 10-16 hour day of heavy labor, for the most part you will touch every box in that truck multiple times because of the way their loading system is set up,everything is backwards for example the cases for you stop 1 will be at the bottom of the pallet and the 10's on top, makes no sense, but stuff like this makes you constantly be digging for product, and the time that they give u to make those deliveries are a joke, this just adds to the stress of your day. Management is also joke, they're like puppets having they're strings pulled by someone else which also works against u because whatever problem u report if they're boss tells them otherwise they can't do anything about it letting u learn to deal with it, so pretty much you learn to solve most problems yourself (SO THEN WHAT ARE THEY REALLY SUPERVISING??). The money is good BECAUSE of the overtime, the benefits are great & the other drivers you work with for the most part are also cool to work with. Oh and don't get hurt cause if u do they won't know u, all they care about is themselves...
