With offices located in Washington, California, Colorado and Maryland, SCL offers Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Project Control, Contract Administration and Inspection services on heavy civil engineering projects.
We are currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator for our Tacoma office. Successful candidates must have 10 years proven experience in office management, report writing and editing, documentation management, scheduling and coordinating meetings, manage travel, events and calendars, documenting and distributing meeting minutes, archiving and records management.
Advanced level MS Office Professional and intermediate use of the internet a must. Must be extremely organized and familiar with office management principles and document control systems. Architecture/Engineering or construction management experience preferred. Proven ability to work with management, independently and in team environments.
The primary responsibility of the Office Administrator is to provide administrative support services for internal and external customers.
- Create, edit, review and distribute business correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and
related business and technical documents.
- Review, proofread and edit reports, studies, technical specifications, manuals, etc.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, travel and training.
- Prepare and review presentations & manuals.
- Support operations and sales.
- Take and distribute meeting minutes.

A combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors degree, accepted. Excellent oral, written, and communication skills are a must. Candidate must possess demonstrated knowledge of business writing, administrative procedures and event coordination. Successful candidate will possess business office experience in engineering, heavy construction or similar environments.
