Sales Exec (4 Positions)
Our client, a technology solutions provider for business, is seeking a results-driven Sales Exec to join their award-winning sales team and accelerate sales in the SMB Market. You will take an active role in achieving the company's next level of success they expand their presence throughout the Upper Midwest.

The Sales Exec acquires and maintains business relationships with revenue producing customers. The Sales Exec is required to achieve monthly quota assignments in both revenue and gross profit by developing and executing a strategic sales plan. The Sales Exec is responsible for selling technology infrastructure services, which may include migrations and collaborative computing solutions, network planning, asset management, computer maintenance, network management, remote services, unified communications and software.

Essential Functions:
Acquire new business opportunities related to selling solutions to new customers -
Pre-Sales, customer presentations, proposal writing, pricing, and contract negotiation.
Develops sales leads, calls on prospective customers (in-person and via phone).
Presents / provides information about company products and services.
Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for new orders.
Researches technology in preparation for acquiring new business.
Works closely in developing solutions and sales strategies with key manufacturers such as Microsoft, Cisco and VMware.
Also works closely with the Managed Services business unit to propose and price managed service solutions for new and existing customers, as well as to plan for the implementation of those services.

Manages current accounts -

Follows up with customers through personal visits, phone calls, emails, etc.
Works closely with other company employees to ensure that all other service and product opportunities are pursued.
Conducts financial reviews with management and customers.

Administrative tasks -
Completes various administrative reports on expenses, special projects, sales forecasting in a timely manner and updates the customer contact database.

Experience:
You must have a strong sales background.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the information technology space.
Proven ability to sell service offerings as well as product and close new business.
Managed and maintained long term sales relationships.
Manufacture Certifications helpful (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, Dell, HP)

Knowledge:
Knowledge of network configurations.
Knowledge of margins and industry selling prices.
General selling principles including relationship selling.
General business principles in applying technology solutions.
Basic understanding of PC software.

Skills:
Able to manage multiple processes and tasks.
Personal computer skills such as word processing and spreadsheets.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including oral, written communication and effective
presentations.
Good listening skills.

Abilities:
Using Office 2010 and CRM systems.
Proven ability to close business for SMB IT solutions.
Proven ability to deal professionally with customers, associates and upper management.
Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate into "best solution" offering or product.

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in IT or business is preferred.
