T.A.P.S. Of KC Inc. provides select clients with Motorcade Escort Protection services both in Kansas and Missouri. Cadets will be utilizing our Agency marked motorcycles and/or patrol sedans that are fully outfitted with the required and professional equipment. All interested Applicants will be required to progress through "ALL" five steps of the hiring process. A KCMO Private Officer's commission, Class A - Armed/Unarmed is a stipulation and qualification to be employed by our Agency. Other city specific licensing that requires an Agent of our Agency to obtain a specified license will be the responsibility of each Agent. A clean driving record is also a requirement. Applicants interested in performing "Motorcade Escort Protection" duties utilizing our motorcycles will be required to show proof of a valid/current motorcycle license/endorsement. Applicants must have "NO" traffic citations on their driving record. A driving record report will be obtained on each applicant prior to hiring any Applicant for any position.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate their motorcycle riding and/or driving abilities, by completing a riding course that is setup by our Agency. This course and a physical agility course must be passed to further progress in the process. Our Agency's hiring process is as follows:
Step one: Reply to this Ad, make sure you have attached your resume and contact phone number.
Step two: Phone interview conducted by the Lt. Director
Step three: Oral Board Interview, Regional Lt. Directors: PEA, COP, MEP, ARC, APE.
Step four: Pass a physical, driving and/or motorcycle agility course.
Step five: Final Interview, conducted by the Chief.
Once you have passed the five step process, Human Resources will make contact with you and pass you the "Intent to hire" KCMO Commission form. Applicants must obtain their KCMO Class A - Armed commission prior to receiving the "Officially Hired" status.
If you have a passion for law enforcement and/or criminal justice, our Agency would like to speak to you! We employ retired military, military police, post certified and post seeking individuals to perform duties as a T.A.P.S. Field Agent or Private Officer.
You must posses your own duty weapon and bulletproof vest prior to your KCMO qualification.
We prefer the use of Glock, however most semi-auto pistols will be approved. Approval will be at the Firearms Range Master's discretion.
