Bartender and Cocktail Server (Former Employee) – Leesburg, VA – June 15, 2016
Friday's is a wonderful place to meet new people, new friends, and be a part of a restaurant family. The food is great and loved engaging with guests with conversations. However, the work days are very long and are stressful especially to those who are going to school full time. Managers cared very little about working around school schedule. The hardest part of the job is staying on your feet for 12 hours and dealing with frustrated guests.
Line Cook (Current Employee) – Port Charlotte, FL – October 23, 2016
Not nearly as much hours as I thought. I'm a father of two but looking to work more than just 15 hours a week. I pay child support and am seeking to work forty hours a week with another child on the way.

I enjoyed working there cause it was a place that pushed me to limits that I knew I could exceed to and beyond. Also showed great teamwork and safety was always of an importance... Was always on time for work, also on tickets times. I was always able to solve any issue or problem that arose in a timely fashion with the most efficient way possibly... Also always keeping a clean work environment..
Prepared pretty much prepared quality foods and served the customers to their satisfaction.
Line Cook (Former Employee) – Gainesville, FL – October 17, 2016
Working at TGI Fridays is overall my best work experience. I enjoyed the environment, I enjoyed working with my fellow coworkers, and I also enjoyed the fast pace TGI Fridays required as a Fry Cook. I enjoyed preparing the mouth watering food dishes, and appetizers TGI had to offer.
Productive and high energy job with lots of challenges.
Server/Waiter (Former Employee) – Orlando, FL – October 17, 2016
A typical day at work at TGI Fridays, across the street from universal, very hectic, lots of language barriers and a need to always keep a positive attitude no matter what the situation. As we would say "our personality is a part of our uniform." I learned that team work and communication is an absolute must through any job, career, or human interaction. Management was always hectic because they were constantly being switched around to different locations, however as a team we made it work. My coworkers were my "Fridays Family" absolutely amazing and reliable. My coworkers were consistent with outstanding work ethic. The hardest part of my job was maintaining a calm resolve for my guests, when the restaurant was slammed and extremely busy. The most enjoyable part of my job at Fridays was learning and observing how to work as one unit with so many people. Also I enjoyed meeting or excelling in my daily sale goals. I am very successful in meeting my goals.
Server (Current Employee) – Lombard, IL – October 15, 2016
My general manager looked at me today and told me i "look like an old cutter". This was in front of the entire kitchen staff and other servers. He also singled me out for the pink in my bangs i had hidden under a very thick headband. My bangs were pink for breast cancer awareness, my hair had been blue for 7 months of me working there with no issues or need to cover them up ever. i covered my pink bangs up so there wouldn't be any issue and the manager again in front of other servers, told me " what are you doing?... How many shifts do you want next week?" Later, he even went as far as to compare me dying my hair pink in support of breast cancer to him wearing pink underwear right then, but then in front of everyone in the kitchen again goes, but, they are brown now, comparing my hair in support of the breast cancer movement to his brown once pink underwear. I can describe this no other way then to feel bullied, he could've multiple times when it came to my hair being an issue pulled me into the office and talked to me but did not. instead he decided to make fun of me and my hair and what i support and believe in.
Prep Cook / Sautee Cook (Former Employee) – Newburgh, NY – October 12, 2016
Line Cook postion, typical of other eateries in the area. Atmosphere was pleasant and the people were friendly. Work load was typical of other jobs that are similar with the exception of weekends being busier.
Fun and informative introduction to the Food Industry.
Waitress/Cocktail Waitress (Current Employee) – Corona, CA – October 7, 2016
From day one all of the employees got along and managed to incorporate a steady and productive work place while still enjoying each others company as well as the company of the guest. The opportunity to grow and learn in order to advance to a high position was always given. There was not one person not given the opportunity to prove themselves through their work ethic to move up.
Fun, Comfortable, Friendly, Fast Pace, Informative
