We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to join our TECT Power team. This position reports to the President of TECT Power and will be based out of our Fort Mitchell, KY headquarters (greater Cincinnati). The VP of Sales plays a key role in driving our business to success. We have aggressive growth goals and we are searching for an individual who has the experience and energy to drive us there.
In this position you will be accountable for the following:
Provide sales growth to increase revenues and improve profitability while exceeding the customer’s expectations and delivering results that meet internal guidelines and objectives.
Target new and existing customers for new sales opportunities and execute action plans to secure new business.
Develop and implement sales strategies, monitor and analyze sales activity against goals.
Develop new prospects and interact with international customers to increase sales.
Recognize international variances in cultural and legal issues as pertaining to sales.
Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
Maintain positive communications with sales staff, internal/external customers and stakeholders regarding sales goals and objectives.
Establish performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.
Manage all hiring, training and development, and personnel issues of Sales and Marketing employees.
Participate with the Senior Staff, in the development of the Strategic Plan for the Company and drive the sales staff to meet or exceed those goals.
Interact with and influence key stakeholders and demonstrate ability to interface effectively at all levels.
Monitor A/R aging on a proactive basis with key personnel and coordinate with Controllers.
Bachelors Degree, in Engineering, Business, Management or related field, advanced degree preferred.
Sales Data Base experience / CRM system knowledge
Aerospace sales / marketing development (15 years)
Sales experience as a supplier to major OEM’s
Tactical sales plan development including: SWOT, growth strategy and monthly/annual objectives
Experience working and selling maintenance repair and overhaul services
Prior work experience within one of the major engine OEM’s – GE, P&W, & RR
Proven leadership abilities including; mentoring, development, management and relationship-building
Negotiation and contract management
