We are a network of virtual goods sites looking for a dedicated blogger to create and publish three blog posts per day. Two daily posts will highlight the latest news from various MMO-style video games. This news will be gleaned from several dozen websites to which the blogger will subscribe. The original articles will be referenced and linked to within the blog post, and the blogger will create original content within the post as well. The third daily post will be completely original content about a relevant and timely topic involving a specific MMO-style game or the MMO industry in general. The required style of these posts will be provided upon hire.

All posts must be dynamic, interesting, and grammatically correct throughout. Posts also need to be constructed in a manner conducive to search engines, with the blogger concentrating on keywords that we provide where applicable. Original and thoughtful content trumps the SEO aspects of the posts, but both must be considered. This includes entering relevant META information for each blog post.

The blogger will also be responsible for making multiple relevant posts to both Twitter and Facebook throughout the day. These posts can be created in bulk and then dripped appropriately throughout the 24-hour cycle, so this is not an 'all-day' job. The work can be completed at once and dripped using services that we will provide. The required style and nature of these social media posts will be provided upon hire.

Candidates must possess an intimate knowledge of gaming, specifically MMO gaming. The ideal candidate should also have an excellent grasp of the English language, and should be able to provide multiple writing samples - both published and non-published. The candidate should also have experience with both
Facebook and Twitter.

This position is perfect for a gamer/writer looking to establish a name for themselves in the online writing space, all the while compiling a portfolio. The starting rate of pay can grow over time, especially as posts begin to grow site traffic organically. Candidates should keep this in mind when applying, as there is great potential for growth. Do not apply for this position if your only goal is for quick money at first, as that is not the case. Your pay will grow as we grow organically with the help of your writing/posting. More importantly, your portfolio and writing experience will grow in the interim. This is perfect for anyone looking to become an established
writer with a public portfolio.

Applicants should include a current resume, a minimum of three related writing samples, a summary of their SEO knowledge, a summary of their Facebook and Twitter experience, and a list of MMO games that they have played or are currently playing; along with their thoughts on those game(s).
