Summary: Looking to hire a Research Analyst that has an expertise in at least two of the following areas such as:
Application performance monitoring
Network monitoring and management
Web performance management
WAN optimization
Systems management
IT security
Cloud and virtualization management
This position will provide qualified candidates an opportunity to become thought leaders in this market, influence market dynamics and use TRAC's unique research methodology to help end-user organizations select solutions that are the best fit for their specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
Publish 20-25 research reports per year
Publish in-depth assessments of technology vendors in this space using TRAC's unique methodology
Design end-user surveys to capture key dynamics in the market
Publish articles about key market events
Conduct briefings and advisory sessions with vendor clients
Conduct interviews with users of IT performance management technologies
Analyze information collected to provide actionable insight and recommendation to the market
Work closely with sales team to generate new revenue and grow existing end-user, enterprise and service provider client relationships
Work with TRAC's publication partners to provide quotes and excerpts from research relevant to their audience
Manage content for TRAC's IT Performance Newsletter
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge about product offerings and competitive differentiators of technology vendors covered
Strong written and oral communication skills
5+ years experience in IT management
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven business leader
High energy; ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines without compromising quality
