TSC Apparel is a wholesale distributor of brand name imprintable active wear. The company has been serving the imprinted sportswear, uniform and promotional products industries for over 25 years. We are a national company, with five sales offices coast to coast. This entry level position can progress into a career path that could take you to inside sales, outside sales or on to other areas of the business world. We hire and train in our Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Cincinnati, but the opportunity to relocate to another one of our locations is possible. The successful candidate will be enrolled in an extensive training program to help build and develop strong sales capabilities. Our comprehensive training program includes professional sales certification through the highly recognized Sandler Sales Training Program along with a broad range of industry and on the job training. Upon successful completion of our training program, you will advance to an inside sales position and be assigned a sales territory to grow and develop.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build productive relationships with our existing customer base
- Contact prospective clients to generate interest in our products and to sell them our products and services over the phone.
- Maintain and update lead and contact information in our customer databases.
- Process orders from large accounts on an as required basis. This includes following-up on issues and providing customer service as needed.
- Generate professional quotes for large opportunities and programs by interfacing with Purchasing and Sales Leadership.
- Overall responsibility for growing sales and gross margin results for assigned territory
- College Degree preferred but not required
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Outgoing personality and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently to gather a client’s pertinent information and to introduce this to decision makers for our products and services.
- This position combines phone etiquette and prospecting/sales skills to contact, sell and deliver our products. Other basic marketing communication activities such as e-mail campaigns and direct mailings may also be used to contact potential clients.
- Good PC skills: Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong initiative, self-motivated, able to grow and respond to coaching and mentoring.
- Good organizational skills with good follow up capabilities
- Some travel required
- Willing to relocate with future positions
- Bilingual speakers a plus
