Conduct market research and surveys;
Develop and maintain a customer database;
Source and develop client referrals;
Develop sales proposals;
Prepare sales action plans and schedules;
Plan and conduct direct marketing activities;
Make outreaching calls to new and existing clients;
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients;
Present sales contracts;
Maintain sales activity records and reports;
Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person;
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships;
Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management;
Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development.
Work experience in the petroleum or chemical industries 3 years+;
Able to work with team players, juggle multiple priorities and handle quickly-emerging tasks;
Sales experience highly preferred;
Excellent interpersonal skills;
Creativity and self-motivation favorable;
Knowledge of customer service principles;
Experience in making presentations;
Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
