Head of Operations, East Hartford, CT - January 9, 2012
As the Head of Operations at TAB Computer Systems, Inc. I have a unique view of all aspects of TAB's daily workflow. Primarily the daily focus is within the Service Departments workflow, personnel matters, and in general focusing on servicing our clients to the maximum possible extent, After all if TAB doesn't do it, someone else will. I've been extremely pleased to witness the continual growth of the company in the time I've been working for TJ Benoit, the owner of TAB Computer Systems. As demonstrated by TJ, the remainder of the staff share his focus on working hard, striving to do the best by the client-base, and when appropriate playing hard as well. Where else does the owner cook lunch for all their employees on a weekly basis on Fridays. From having been on the road to now being an in-house position I can tell you I missed a lot of good food over the years! The technicians, Customer Service Representatives, Administrative Staff, Programmers are all some of the most intelligent, dedicated folks I have had the pleasure of working with. One of the reasons I see this is the fact that so much effort is put into the appropriate hiring of like minded individuals including personality testing of particular applicants to ensure TAB continues the trend of bringing like minded, focused individuals on-board. I have the pleasure of interacting with all potential hires as I am directly responsible for the hiring of all Service Personnel. It is constantly confirmed to me after folks join TAB what a difference it has been for them. We've brought folks in that were Key Players in other organizations that realize how pleasant working in the industry can be, not only what they were previously exposed to. This is really a result of the environment that has been laid out for everyone to follow and the work constantly being done to better ourselves starting with bringing in more awesome engineers. One of the things I say to potential hires I reach out to is that one has nothing to lose and everything to gain when looking at employment at TAB. This can and has been realized in many forms including taking one's life back to a more reasonable work / life balance, to even more so realizing what an awesome environment TAB is to work within. I hope that if one is reading this they consider TAB as what it is, the best IT Support Company in the region HANDS DOWN in leadership and personnel, etc.
