IT Analyst (Current Employee) –  Auburn Hills, MIJuly 19, 2015
Typical day at work at TCS - Client Chrysler involves, resolving incidents and providing permanent fixes, meeting with business and IT teams and gathering requirements for future enhancements and also providing guidance to other teams in their activities. Managing team and priorities and assigning day to day activities while communicating the requirements for the enhancements. Most enjoyable part of the job is to interact with co-workers and resolving issues.

Great Place to Work
Business Analyst Internship (Former Employee) –  Glendale, CAFebruary 19, 2016
Interned at Tata for about three months. Great Company to work for lots of room for advancement. Was given assignments to work on like creating Visio Diagrams, Research Market Trends for companies and see the Impact it would have on the Market. Was also given a task to come up with a Project Plan Resource Plan and Budget Plan. Create Presentations and present to upper managers on what I have accomplished and learned.
Pros
Work From Home
Cons
Big Company which doesn't care about employees.

It's a great place to start
Software Engineer (Former Employee) –  San Antonio, TXSeptember 8, 2016
You may have to relocate to a client anywhere in the USA. You have to learn to be flexible and learn new skills along the way spontaneously. It's a great place to start if you need to start somewhere, but I often hear that people use this opportunity as their first step towards something greater.

few of the benefits like leaves are good. Not easy to go up in the ladder.
Pros

Unless you work in HR this is not the company for you
Software Developer (Current Employee) –  Cincinnati, OHApril 7, 2016
If you are in HR then great! Nobody is going to ask you to do anything and you can ignore your employees all day.

If you're a consultant, you will be lied to, treated poorly, and coerced into doing things you would prefer not to do. You have no real mobility and they hire software engineers to learn simple ETL or business analysis tools.
Pros
Standard pay and benefits, at least for low cost of living areas. 40 hour work week
Cons
Awful culture, awful treatment, often feel helpless

Consultant / Business Analyst (Former Employee) –  Chicago, ILAugust 20, 2015
I'm pretty sure TCS's high-profile recent failures are going to kick it into a death cycle. Their internal business systems are terrible, much less what they build for clients!

Tata is Growing strong
ABIM Technical Architect (Current Employee) –  Alpharetta, GAJuly 14, 2015
Growth and expansion is foremost for TCS. It is an Indian company through and through. Many system have problems and look good to outsiders but are severely flawed. Management interested in complete compliance to group think. Any variance is treated severely.
Talent is good, but conformity is requested.
Pros
Pay and Benefits
Cons
Few vacation days
