Its European sister company, Teadit Italia was founded in 1980. Teadit Juntas, founded in 1965, is one the largest producers of spiral-wound gaskets, double-jacketed gaskets, other gaskets and both metallic and non-metallic expansion joints. Teadit Industria e Comercio, the leader in Latin America in the production of packings, gaskets, and synthetic yarns, has been in business for more than 40 years. Teadit N.A., founded in 1988, provides marketing, technical support and distribution for the products of the TEADIT GROUP from its $3 million inventory. Teadit Argentina, founded in 1995, is a distributor of group products. Alta Mega was purchased in January, 2001 and is a subsidiary of Teadit Canada, Ltd.
