Fast-paced, high-growth marketing company serving the automotive industry seeks experienced marketing director to manage and grow existing client accounts. The ideal marketing director candidate is highly organized, task-and-detail-oriented, motivated, articulate, flexible, and capable of working under pressure. Strong communication and a desire to develop client interaction skills with high-level executives are essential.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Developing and implementing integrated marketing programs and budgets
Working with our internal creative team and department heads to create break-through marketing including print advertising, digital (web, social, email) ,direct mail, PR and media.
Developing and ensuring the effectiveness and continuity of campaigns and brands
Evaluating results and researching/brainstorming opportunities to continually help clients reach/exceed their goals and improve ROI
Provides analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
Lead the collaborative development of projects within the Client Services team, and with other internal resources to deliver work that is on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy.
Allocate resources appropriately to projects, understanding work in the pipeline and anticipating needs and requests.
Requirements, qualifications, and skills:
BA or BS degree in related field required
5 years minimum experience as the Senior Account Lead for a reputable Ad Agency or Marketing Firm
Expert at developing, “selling” and executing integrated marketing programs
Stay current on functional and industry best practices with an eye toward continuous improvement - continually challenges the status quo and “raises the bar”
Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Automotive industry background preferred
Organizational skills, ability to be task-oriented and pay close attention to detail
