Very good learining environment and friendly co-workers
Sales Engineer (Former Employee), Dubai, DUJune 14, 2012
Pros: high compensation, secured job, and learning opportunity
Cons: hard to get promoted
A normal day at work would contains:
- handling reports on going projects and the need of project managers
-discussion with the senior system engineers on new projects
-contacting vendors in order to negotiate prices for the items included in the new proposal that would be submitted to our clients
-meetings with new or existing suppliers/partners
-process – more... and screen different projects which includes supplying Dell products

I learned how to mange and conduct B2B relations, and meetings. Moreover, I learned how to work within teams from different backgrounds in order to achieve goals of the project within limited time frame.

I would see some lack of management in the company which was the reason for me to leave. The previous company increased my interest in management due to its weak management.

My co-wokers were very friendly and professional; we were a "big small" family

The hardest part of the job was to submit proposals to clients within very limited time

What I loved most about this work was the opportunity to develop my skills and learn about different ares such as sales, management, leadership, motivation, and business relationships – less
