I joined them when they had an explosion of growth, but they over-compensated and their business model was bound to stretch and break - like a rubber band. I was lucky enough to get a promotion before the elastic effect, but everyone worked in fear up until their 90-day review; it was a magical number for everyone, as passing this threshold meant you were officially hired, could receive benefits, and your job was secure due to seniority - this just meant that they would fire the newbies first.
I liked the job. I liked the people. Like any office, it had its politics. Their aggressive nature towards their employees, extreme class divide, and failed business model are why I didn't like it.
