Our goal at Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital is to provide the highest quality veterinary care available in a compassionate and comfortable environment. We are commited to proving we are worthy of the trust that you have placed in us by allowing us to provide the medical care for a very important member of your family. We are continually updating not only our facility and equipment, but also the education of our staff so we can continue to provide the same service for you and your pet that we would want for our own pets. We are a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the California Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association - all reminders that we will provide the highest quality veterinary care available.
We provide medical care for your pet throughout their life, starting with a well-pet check up as a puppy or kitten, and continuing with annual physical examinations throughout their lives. During these examinations we can screen for any early indications of a disease process, and hopefully correct any problems before illness is apparent. This is the time to discuss any needed preventative care (vaccinations, antiparasitical, etc.) that may be appropriate for your pet based on their lifestyle. This is also the time to discuss any medical, behavioral, or nutritional concerns you may have.
We also provide a wide variety of surgical services ranging from the simplest to advanced soft tissue or orthopedic procedures. We also routinely consult with surgical specialists, and can arrange a referral to a specialist if needed.
We are also here when problems arise - from simple ailments to severe illness, dental disease, cancer, or emergency trauma cases. We have a complete in house diagnositic laboratory, endoscopic and ultrasonograhic capabilities, digital (including dental) radiograhy, computer analyzed electrocardigrams, all in our five thousand square foot state of the art hospital facility.
