Good job for folks who don't mind mean customers
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) – Candler, NC – October 23, 2016
Unfortunately, the Clients you're working for are the ones who maybe have a high volume of complaints. You are getting these poor callers AFTER they have been sent to either India for help (which always ticks ME off when I get sent over there); they have been on hold for a long time, and by the time you answer the call, they are ready to explode.
Once I got thru training, I pretty much never heard from anyone from the company, my paychecks were always correct and always on time, and they paid exactly as promised.
The hardest part of the job was when I needed assistance from the TL or coach, and either being told "Use You Knowledge Base" (like I hadn't already tried that route before bugging them), or not getting any response at all. I was then, after not getting a response, the customer's best friend - I'd just apologize profusely for their trouble, refund them the full purchase price and be done with it. My ultimate goal was keeping the client's customers happy, and if that meant a refund, that's what they got. If I was supposed to do anything differently, the TL's and coaches who were supposed to be watching the chat boxes next said anything to me.
Get to wear your jammies to work
Not so great with assistance from TLs or Coaches when you're out of Nesting
